How To Draw A Skull With Wings

How to draw a skull with wings I would have done a drawing video of earlier, but never got around to doing it. The idea of a skull with black crow like wings just seemed like a good idea to draw. The concept is a tattoo enthusiasts dream to have something like this inked on their arm. Of course I didn't add any color, because I quite liked the black and white color contrast.

I used a combination of ink pens such as a permanent black art marker and a pigma micron and uni-pin fine liner pens which are waterproof and then a Sakura gelly roll white pen to do some cool highlight effects over the black.

Watch the drawing video and have fun drawing a skull with wings.

Drawing Some Vampire Skulls

How to draw Vampire Skulls. In the following drawing video I go through 3 very different ways to draw a Vampire skull and if you want to see a much detailed version of a Vampire Skull then look at this video - How to draw Vampire Skull Close up

The three Vampire skulls I have drawn in the video are very simple pencil drawings you can have a go at drawing yourself. The more practice you have of drawing skull variations then the more chance you have of drawing an effective skull design of your own.

How To Draw A Zombie Horse Head Video

How to draw a Zombie Horse head. In the following video I go through a demonstration of sketching a Horses head but with a Zombie theme to it. It is always a fun idea to draw everything as a Zombie these days. I've included the scan of the finished drawing so you can see it here before you watch the drawing video below. (But then you can also see the thumbnail preview on the video....so I'm crazy)

How To Draw A Despicable Me Minion Video Tutorial

How to draw a Despicable Me Minion drawing tutorial. Drawing a Despicable Me Minion is easy once you start to sketch and practice. Here is a 3 part drawing video series which looks at drawing a Minion to have a go at drawing for yourself.

The first drawing video here is the pencil drawing stage, which can make or break your resulting end drawing, so get it right at this stage.

The second video I like to ink the full drawing, which gives the Minion a certain look and easier to color after the inking process.
The coloring stage is easy, just get some Crayolas or Prismacolors and get busy coloring. For exact color guides and drawing different Minions it is advised to watch the movies and check the Minions out for yourself.

Sketching Ideas For More Creatures

When sketching ideas for creatures, I tend to get carried away and the results are these types of sketches that get tossed down on to the floor, ready to be inked and coloured. The very idea that sketching becomes a chore is very much a myth as we can all get lost in the sketching process and just have fun with it.

So sketching ideas for creatures is an evolutionary process and one that you should work through yourself and try and get to grips with quick sketching your ideas down on to paper as fast as you can, so you can capture the energy of your own ideas.

The sketching process is a very methodical process that you begin right away. And it's up to you to make use of good ideas and get rid of bad concept ideas. The process of sketching helps with this and the elimination of ideas you don't like so that you can develop your better ideas further.

In the following drawing video I draw an idea of an arm that is a monster concept I was challenged to draw by another YouTuber. And this video is a prime example of drawing a creature concept from a basic arm shape.
